Snow Moon Journaling Prompts and Affirmations

Tonight’s Full Snow Moon in Leo invites us to pause, reflect, and honor our inner truth. As the moon illuminates what has been hidden, it’s the perfect moment to explore your emotions, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your heart.

This is a gentle practice you can do tonight or anytime this week - a space for reflection and self-discovery.

Settle in somewhere calming - with candlelight, a warm drink, or a quiet corner of your home - and reflect through these guided prompts. You can do one tonight or revisit them throughout this lunar week.

Journaling Prompts

Identity & Expression
✧ How would I describe my authentic self - beyond roles, expectations, or “shoulds”?
✧ Where in my life am I dimming my light or shrinking myself to fit in?

Releasing What No Longer Serves
✧ What feelings or habits come up when I think about letting go?
✧ What is one thing I’m ready to release this month, and why?

Heart & Passion
✧ What brings me joy or ignites a spark in my life?
✧ What creative desire or dream feels ready to be acknowledged?

Growth & Renewal
✧ How am I already growing - even in ways I can’t fully see yet?
✧ What is a small way I can practice self-love this week?

Snow Moon Affirmations

✧ “I honour my truth and express it with courage.”
✧ “I release what no longer supports my highest self.”
✧ “My inner light is strong and worthy of radiance.”
✧ “I trust the unfolding of my path, even when it feels quiet.”

When Motion Meets Emotion

The name Motions & Emotions reflects a simple but often overlooked relationship: how we move is deeply connected to how we feel.

In movement practices such as Pilates, the body’s own weight and motion become the tools for change. In energy-based approaches like Emotion Code® and Body Code®, we work with the body - and its energetic field - to support healing on both physical and emotional levels. Though different in form, these practices share a common understanding: the body itself holds information, intelligence, and the capacity for change.

As such, Motions & Emotions is an invitation to listen to the body - and to what it may be asking for. And to what it might be telling us need cleansing - be it an old illness, be it strengthening a particular muscle to live our everyday life to the fullest, be it an old family trauma that still lingers despite years of working.

For me, this journey has began with dance. What may appear as a shift in direction has felt like a natural unfolding - each step deepening the same conversation with the body, motion, and emotion. Movement was the first language through which awareness, emotion, and discipline were explored. That foundation naturally led to Pilates, and later to energy-based healing

So often, we separate how we move from how we feel - treating the body and emotions as two different things. Yet in practice, they are deeply connected.

Through movement, we experience strength, resistance, ease, and release. Through emotion, we experience similar patterns - holding, softening, flowing, and letting go. Whether through Pilates, energy-based healing, or simple daily awareness, the body often becomes the place where change begins.

This space is an invitation to explore that relationship gently. To how our emotional wellbeing is connected to and can change the way we move through the world. Sometimes, the smallest adjustments create the most meaningful shifts.

Welcome to Motions & Emotions.

Welcome

Welcome to the Motions & Emotions blog, and within it, the Book Club!

One of the main reasons I created this space was to gently archive the conversations that naturally arise in my work - the topics my clients and I explore together, the questions we sit with, and the insights that surface along the way. This blog is an extension of those conversations, shared openly so they may resonate with and support others too.

Here, you’ll find a mix of wellness reflections, everyday practices, and deeper explorations - from movement and energy healing to mindset, self-awareness, and personal growth. This space is open to all, welcoming curiosity, reflection, and shared learning.

The Book Club is a natural continuation of this. It reflects the books that often weave their way into conversations with my clients - titles within personal development, wellbeing, nutrition, and spirituality. These are books that invite reflection, awareness, and new perspectives.

My hope is that the Book Club helps you discover the right book at the right time. In a busy world, having a little guidance and structure can make choosing your next read feel simpler and more intentional. Above all, this is about cultivating a sense of connection and community - wherever you are in the world.

You’re warmly invited to read along, reflect, and join us.
