When Motion Meets Emotion
The name Motions & Emotions reflects a simple but often overlooked relationship: how we move is deeply connected to how we feel.
In movement practices such as Pilates, the body’s own weight and motion become the tools for change. In energy-based approaches like Emotion Code® and Body Code®, we work with the body - and its energetic field - to support healing on both physical and emotional levels. Though different in form, these practices share a common understanding: the body itself holds information, intelligence, and the capacity for change.
As such, Motions & Emotions is an invitation to listen to the body - and to what it may be asking for. And to what it might be telling us need cleansing - be it an old illness, be it strengthening a particular muscle to live our everyday life to the fullest, be it an old family trauma that still lingers despite years of working.
For me, this journey has began with dance. What may appear as a shift in direction has felt like a natural unfolding - each step deepening the same conversation with the body, motion, and emotion. Movement was the first language through which awareness, emotion, and discipline were explored. That foundation naturally led to Pilates, and later to energy-based healing
So often, we separate how we move from how we feel - treating the body and emotions as two different things. Yet in practice, they are deeply connected.
Through movement, we experience strength, resistance, ease, and release. Through emotion, we experience similar patterns - holding, softening, flowing, and letting go. Whether through Pilates, energy-based healing, or simple daily awareness, the body often becomes the place where change begins.
This space is an invitation to explore that relationship gently. To how our emotional wellbeing is connected to and can change the way we move through the world. Sometimes, the smallest adjustments create the most meaningful shifts.
Welcome to Motions & Emotions.
